Plea of Innocent in 10 Indictments Open in Troy Court
Henry Whalen 46 an Albany area extonvier known as Trojan pleaded innocent to 10 indictments containing 18 burglary and larceny counts in Rensselaer County Court. Howard Stoddard also pleaded innocent to three indictments tied to forgery and larceny charges. Additional arraignments seen for nine defendants connected to gambling cases postponed until today. Several defendants faced related charges from mid spring with psychiatrists confirming they are sane and able to stand trial. All five defendants Whalen Stoddard Flackett Belcher Wright were remanded to jail pending trial.
