RPI Students Not Called on for Harvest Help
Captain Mark E. Bowman of RPI naval science reports no request has been made to use Navy students from RPI for harvesting in the Troy area this fall. He notes such a call would disrupt the students' tightly scheduled program. Elton Hanks confirms no widespread farm labor shortage, though farmers may struggle to hire strong harvest workers for land work and silo filling.
