County Budget Talks Open for 1968 Plans
County Treasurer James M Brahaw launches preliminary conferences with departmental heads to draft estimates for next year. Meetings run daily through the month in order of budget codes, starting with Supervisors Supreme Court Chambers County Court and Commissioner of Jurors. Larger items such as Health Social Services and Highway will be reviewed later, with worksheets distributed last month.
