Court case against Rankin dismissed for lack of prosecution
In Troy Pottee Court Judge Thomas J. O Conn or dismissed the charge against Rankin for assaulting a 14 year old babysitter after the complainant refused to prosecute. The girl and her mother were in court but silent when asked about preventing future incidents. Rankin had counsel and no district attorney appeared. The incident allegedly occurred May 29 en route to the girl's home after babysitting.
