Petersburg Youth Gets Year In Jail
A Petersburg youth, Stanley W. Thomas, 20, auto mechanic, pleaded guilty to rape and related charges involving a 15 year old girl. Judge DeForest C. Pitt imposed a one year sentence in county jail after waiving the waiting period. Thomas falsely represented the girl as his wife. crime occurred between March and April before his arrest for the missing girl report.
