The 38th convention of the United Postal Workers Association opened yesterday in Italy with about 600 proposals on the agenda. A key proposal seeks changes to retirement provisions of the association. More than 2,000 delegates were in attendance.

John Balmer aged 38 stood before Judge Jhon J QCunnot on an attempted theft charge from a cashier at the Aum Jean Theiler on Raves Street.
