Halloween program at Cohoes centers features Dracula film
Cohoes hosts a Halloween program on Wednesday with the film Taste the Blood of Dracula. The Manor Avenue drop-in center repeats the event Thursday Oct 27 with a costume contest at 6 30 p m. All Cohoes teenagers may participate. Sunday School at St James United Methodist Church is led by Mrs Barbara Hill with teachers listed for different age groups and an adult study group. Teacher's firing upheld by state appellate division
Albany a state middle court Thursday upheld the dismissal of Cohoes High School teacher Terrance Hagen who returned to classes after tenure denial. The five judge Appellate Division unanimously denied his bid to be reinstated, finding notification errors insufficient to rehire him.
