Four Students Rescued From Mountain Ledge By Volunteers
Four students trapped on a mountain ledge were saved after more than 24 hours exposure. Stinnes Rehnelder and volunteers lowered a rope to reach the youths Gilbert Gove 18 of Tiradagham Missouri Charles Pitinian 21 of Perkasie Pennsylvania Philippan 17 of New York and Michael Carnathan 21 of Orchard Park New York. They were carried to safety and treated for exposure at a farmhouse before returning home.
