Hellman complex eyed for East Greenbush with sewer district plan
The East Greenbush supervisor says a $7 million Hellman project near Third Avenue and Route 4 could add about $200,000 to the town tax base. A $200,000 interest free loan would fund a sewer line from the complex, with feasibility studies underway by Smith and Mahoney Engineers. Town officials caution a district may be needed only if the development proceeds, and a second bank may join the project.
