December Departure for 27th Division from Japan
A fragment reports the 27th Division leaving Japan in December with stray notes about orders, timelines, and unclear references to officers and supply issues. The text is garbled, listing names and phrases such as Douglas, Afac, and USC related bits, but no clear events.
Fragmentary wartime note on finances and allies
Incomplete text cites Paul Ford and army talk of government funds to pay troops. Mentions credits on a person’s books and repayments possibly to be presented to Japan. Readable facts are sparse and uncertain.
