Embury Church to Note 175th Anniversary Celebration
Embury Church in Cambridge announces a three day anniversary program marking 175 years of Methodism in the Ashgrove circuit. Events include a Sunday service with a sermon by Rev Harald W. Grills, a Monday address by Bishop G Bromley Oxnam, and a Tuesday fellowship with music and past greetings. The piece details Philip Embury as founder and the church’s historic link to early American Methodism, along with the building's evolution from 1768 through 1861.
