War production faced absenteeism and turnover among women workers. Observers note women handle light, dexterous tasks well and steadily, while heavier work strains limit efficiency. Causes of absence include childcare worries, dual household duties, and overstress. Some plants use part time shifts for married women, improving retention. Overall, women are seen as a wartime asset needing better conditions and flexible schedules.

Liver Functions and Reliability in the Human Body
The liver acts as a reservoir for Vitamin Bis in the organ and begins forming blood before birth, a role later taken by bone marrow. It processes substances absorbed into the bloodstream, renders them harmless, and its many reactions generate much of the body's heat. Despite numerous roles, the liver remains remarkably reliable and rarely fails its owner.
