Conference Set for October 8 at Adirondack Waterways

Edward Denison, superintendent of Latham Water District, will chair a conference October 8 at Mohawk View Water Treatment Plant in Latham. About 125 delegates from area communities will tour the new facilities and attend dinner at Sleasman’s Holbrau House. The planning includes a downstream sewage plant and the capital building note mentions Harrisburg’s 1906 completion.

Single Bid For N. Colonie Special Runs

North Colonie Central School District Board of Education received only one bid Monday for furnishing bus transportation for special runs. The board will reserve decision until its regular October meeting and will consider a one passenger van type station wagon bus.
