Cisco Takes Watery Way To School
A Cajun Louisiana first grader, Everett Cisco Gros, travels a 12 mile route to class by boat then bus. Each morning at 7:15 he boards a steel hulled boat with 14 bayou children, then rides a bus to school arriving at 8:15. Driver Ervin Bailey notes they have missed only one day in 16 years due to tornado warnings.
