Warren Co Adopts $10.5 Million Budget For 1970
The Warren County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopts a $10.5 million fiscal year 1970 budget with gross appropriations of $1,495,415.88. Sales tax receipts trigger lower county taxes for most towns. Glens Falls sees a 63 cent cut as it takes cash rather than tax credits. The plan includes a publicity budget, a reserve fund for rights of way, and a county reappraisal program, with slight welfare cuts despite a new data processing system.
