Averill Park to Host Community Thanksgiving Festival

Secular Challenge and Christian Re sponse education series

The first Presbyterian Church of Troy announces a new adult education seminar series titled Secular Challenge and Christian Response. Troy Soprano On Program In Albany

Miss Patricia A Kennedy a Troy mezzo soprano teaches at Troy High School and performs in recital with four Brahms pieces at Monday Musical Club of Albany at the Albany Institute of History and Art. Accompanist is Mrs Gareth Miller, with pianists Mrs Joseph McCullen Dr Cynthia Berberian Hale and Mrs Charles Stokes and clarinet numbers by Mrs Jungeon Lee. Church Plans Service Of Thanks

The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold a Thanksgiving service at 11 a.m. in the church on 332nd St. The service is traditional in Christian Science churches worldwide. A prepared Thanksgiving lesson sermon will be read and congregants may express thanks afterward. Edith Ross Baker will accompany hymns on organ. Charlotte Knight will sing "O Be Joyful." The CIA and Air Force canceled planned job interviews on the University of Wisconsin campus amid warned antiwar demonstrations. State Upstate Toothaches Bite Medicaid Funds

Niagara County residents with toothaches have driven up Medicaid dental spending to about 747000 this year for roughly 40900 people eligible for state aid. Commissioner Daunt J.
