Dr. Coughlin county health commissioner today urged combining city and county health departments in Troy and Renas Lelacy County as a desirable reform. He spoke at a Cleveland conference, noting a trend toward centralized health services with well trained personnel and warning about public health gains.

Boy Scout Troop 90 of Wynantskill announces a banquet November 28 at the Troy YMCA to celebrate its first anniversary. The event includes a Court of Honor, awards, and a program featuring Charles Ceukston and other committee members. Scout Wilburt Bisher highlighted the troop’s year of achievement and Milton Siler will attend the silver anniversary in New York.
Deputy Sheelf Paul Farrvetl an officer of Sheriff Pallela Craver's department begins a specialized police identification school at Myra enge. The program, run with the Federal Bureau of Wyrantskill, runs through Saturday morning November 20 with a committee led by Raphel Winter Dickinson Gebhardt. A new board of review includes Wel nore chair and others to oversee the year. The effort includes community Christmas tree support and coordination with the Police Chiefs and State Association of Sheriffs. The plan includes White Plains Gould land in Botaty schools offering 40 hours of instruction to train officers in identification systems for full or part time assignments.
