A 34-year-old Nassau resident Joanne Waechter is charged with first degree assault in the shooting of her boyfriend Herman Krug of Schodack as he entered her house. Hudson Falls Patrolman William H. Clary detained Thomas Warner, 22, of Hudson Falls, after spotting him at a bowling alley following a Friday bedcheck escape from Mount MacGregor work camp in Wilton. Warner, serving time for a non violent crime, was sent to Comstock prison and faced parole in April.
