A former Whitehall physician now based in Glens Eally has been appointed to a Veterans Administration post. The appointment, announced yesterday, positions him to oversee care and medical programs for veterans in Hamp towns and surrounding regions. Activities planned include swimming meets, volleyball, camp programs, and youth softball as part of a broad outreach to veteran communities.
Joseph Gildwell, longtime Frear employee and former executive with Willia Horrest Co, died yesterday at 64.
