Saratoga County Attorney Fees Questioned in Town Accounts
A State audit report finds Saratoga County Attorney John W. Nichols was paid for legal services by the towns of Edinburgh and Day during 1957 to 1959. The Day town case covers four payments totaling 400, with the controller noting the county attorney was authorized to render non litigious services to towns when not conflicting with county interests.
