Father Settles Son Auto Injury Suit in Dinner Compromise
Supreme Court Justice William B. Murray approved a settlement by compromise for 150 dollars in a personal injury action filed by Frederick Allen, a six year old of Hoosick Falls, against Bernard Hampton. The child, riding in a car owned by A Johnson of Cambridge, was injured on January 27, 1942 near Schodack when Hampton's backing vehicle collided with their car. The father and guardian alleged injuries from the accident and said the settlement with Hampton's insurer is a fair and reasonable compensation.
