Resident visits and military promotions populate Riverside and nearby towns. Dwight Hicks is promoted to Staff Sergeant at Maxfield Air Base, NC, while Lieut William Sullivan returns west after visiting parents. Local church services and memorials scan the community calendar as Scouts, Knights of Pythias, and Masons prepare for Flag Day events.
