Stove Dealers to Increase Stocks Under OPA Action
Stove dealers in the Troy Albany district were told by the OPA to apply for permission to boost stock of cooking and heating stoves. The decision follows a push to loosen allocations amid improving supplies but concerns about uncontrolled buying. Some Troy dealers had already been permitted to raise stocks last November and April and may be barred from further increases.
