Washington AP Abe Fortas, who resigned from the Supreme Court, will not receive a government pension. The court said he resigned rather than retired and did not meet service and age requirements for a judicial pension. The Civil Service Commission affirmed he is not entitled to a civil service pension. He had served in several New Deal government posts.
