Bloodmobile Visit Plans Being Made

Mrs. Gerald Douglas, nurse recruitment chair for the Red Cross Bloodmobile, invites registered and licensed practical nurses to assist. The Bloodmobile will visit Waterford Thursday from noon to 5 45 p.m. at John House Memorial Waterford Presbyterian Church with listed volunteers and trained blood bank aides.

Altar Society Bake Sale At St Mary’s School

Ford Hose Co Conducts Fund Drive

The J. W. Ford Hose Co. will conduct its fundraising tag days this week announced by chairman George Dorjny. Waterford Fire District will canvass homes starting Thursday at 6 p.m. and continue Friday from noon and Saturday from 8 30 a.m. All residents are urged to support this drive.

Post Office Seeks Bid For Vehicle Service

Postmaster William J. Brown Jr. announced Waterford Post Office is receiving bids for servicing and maintaining the government owned truck. Forms are available at the Post Office. Contract runs one year from July 1 1967 to June 30 1968 and covers lubrication towing oil changes washing battery and snow chain service.

Waterford Methodist WSCS hosts a Mother Daughter Banquet at 6 30 p m in the church dining hall with the men cooking and serving. Couple Bowling Party and Church Plans in 1967

The Couple's Club of the Methodist Church hosts a bowling party at Highway Recreation in Wynantskill next Monday at 7 45 pm open to non bowlers as supporters. A business meeting in the conference room plans the annual steak roast in June. Members and non members may contact Mr and Mrs Eugene Ellnor for bowling. In Arkansas the veteran senator J W Fulbright faces strong Democratic and Republican pressure amid his Vietnam war criticism.
