Officials Pleased with Wednesdays Blackout
Troy and Rensselaer County officials hailed Wednesday's blackout as a total success with few violations. A 17 year old paid a $10 fine for driving with lights on during the blackout in Troy Police Court. County director Lewis V. Griffin noted early rural reports show a sharp improvement and that residents are adjusting well despite a few scattered light-overs.
