Ballston Spa Dectors Quit Commerce Bureau
Seven doctors in Ballston Spa resigned from the Chamber of Commerce this week in protest over the board of directors action May 4 on the Benedict Memorial Hospital site. The chamber favored county owned land for the hospital and opposed building on the current plot. President Leo H. Foy said the chamber supports the hospital and fundraising but prefers other Ballston Spa sites for county buildings.
