Connally anti strike bill not real reform say critics
Editorial attacks Senator Connally's proposed anti strike measure as a deceptive show of reform. It argues the bill merely repeats existing presidential powers and cites government seizures of plants and shipyards to claim it serves political theater rather than genuine labor reform. The piece warns the move could provoke more labor unrest and Communist influence while urging rejection of the proposal.
