Troy Musical Art Club marks 21st season celebration
The Troy Musical Art Club celebrated twenty years since its founding in 1930 under the influence of four Troy women led by Mrs Charles Dix. Since debuting May 22, 1931, the group has held two concerts annually with nine presidents and two accompanists during its history. The 21st season featured concerts on February 18 and April 18 with guest artists Miss Margaret Tobias and Joseph Bell, amid efforts by the Troy Vocal Society and Poughkeepsie Singers Society.

RPI Spring Music Festival Showcases Four Campuses
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute hosts a three night Spring Festival of Music at the Field House featuring the Russell Sage Glee Club Emma Willard Choir Skidmore Freshman Chorus and the Musical Clubs of RPI. Concerts begin at 8 34 p m with multiple ensembles performing Friday Saturday and Sunday including Faure Requiem conducted by Albert Finch and organ by Frank Hunter.
