Brunswick Uses Seventh Election District Plan
Town of Brunswick announces creation of a seventh election district by splitting District 3 into new Districts 3 and 7. The plan, approved at a town meeting, sets voter ranges around 700 to 900 per district. District 3 voters will register at Center Brunswick Fire Hall and District 7 voters at Center Brunswick Grange Hall. A town map shows changes across districts 1 through 6, aimed at faster registration and voting. Volunteers will conduct a house to house canvass to implement Personal Permanent Registration, with forms supplied by the Rensselaer County Board of Elections and later used to issue Permanent Registration cards for the county voter rolls.
