Watches Save Life in Kowloon During Japanese Siege
Frank Smith formerly of Kowloon recalls how watches became lifelines after the Japanese blocked paths to work and food. He traded with Japanese soldiers, bought and sold at soaring prices, and survived alongside his wife and father.
