Funeral service for James J. Gilson in Troy
The funeral for James J. Gilson, deputy collector of Internal Revenue, was held yesterday morning from the residence in Albany and at St. Vincent de Paul’s Church. Rt Rev Edward I Maginn celebrated the requiem mass with Rev Thomas J Gillen and Rev Gregory J Mulhall. Delegations from the Troy and Albany Internal Revenue offices attended. Interment followed at St. Agnes Cemetery Menands with Father Maginn officiating.
