Labor Group Plans Postwar Job Program
Washington 4 The International Labor Office estimated yesterday that jobs would have to be found for more than 130 million persons worldwide when the war ends and peacetime economies resume. The plan calls for international action to supplement national measures and will be submitted to an international labor conference in Philadelphia on April 20. The draft urges Germany to fund promised social protections for non German Europeans and those forced to work without such benefits, with U S participation by four delegates.
