Wrecking Train Hits Automobile At Hoosick Falls
A wrecking train of the Boston and Maine Railroad derailed near Hoosick Falls after striking an automobile owned by Stanley Livingston. The car stalled on Church Street and was hit as the train passed, causing no injuries though freight cars spilled grain, furniture, and carpeting. Trains were redirected around the site for roughly an hour.
