Six motorists were arrested yesterday by Troy motorcycle police for red light running or speeding, bringing 16 arrests in 24 hours. Chief Frank Randall said arrests are now normal during heavy violations as school traffic posts free officers for broader checks. Several named offenders faced fines or adjourned cases, with penalties ranging from bonds to suspended sentences.
