Easton Man Will Visit White House
Easton resident Donald C Bowes a Russell Sage College student is among six college students completing a Democratic internship and will visit the White House this morning. They will tour the capital and lunch with Senator Lehman after meeting President Truman. Bowes is son of Mrs Jessie Bowes of Easton and is one of seven awarded the internship.

Two appeals from Judge Joseph Mulholland s Troy City Court decisions have been moved to Rensselaer County Court. Voltz v Dunn involves a $112.50 judgment for the defendant over alleged dwelling condition misstatements on Michigan Avenue. Sayers v Morgan concerns a collision case with disputed negligence and a dismissed counterclaim.

Round Half Methodist Church to Add Assembly Hall and Heating Plant
The church board approved a building program to add an assembly hall and install an automatic oil burning heating plant. Costs total about 84,000 with half funded by cash gifts and pledges and the rest to be borrowed.
