$2,250 Award For Burns From Apartment Incident
A Troy girl, Janette Sherman 18, received a $2,250 settlement approved by Troy City Court Judge Matthew M Dunne against Troy Housing Authority for injuries from an incinerator explosion at Ahern Apartments on March 28 last year. She suffered multiple second degree burns to face and neck and was treated at St Marys Hospital by Dr Francis A DeLucia. Settlement covered $1,350 for injuries and $900 for medical expenses. Seymour Fox represented the Shermans.

Man Charged In Assault and Mischief at Brunswick Eatery
August J Winter, 23, of Hoosick Falls RD 1, was arrested Friday night on assault in the second degree and malicious mischief stemming from a disturbance at the Starlet Restaurant on Route 7 in Brunswick Town. Charged by State Police at the restaurant and arraigned before Justice James Pfeiffer, Winter was remanded to Rensselaer County Jail after adjournment to seek counsel.
