In Troy Police Court Judge Conner granted a Monday adjournment for Salvi charged with violating the city Building Zone ordinance by operating picnic grounds on Brunswick Avenue east of Orchard Avenue. Balin’s attorney and supporters defendant a zoning appeal previously denied by the Troy Board of Zoning Appeals. a Common Council amendment was rejected after a public hearing.

Voters approve a central school system merging eight districts around Lake George Village in a special election. Of 286 votes cast, 282 favored the merger, three were blank and three void. Accident claims filed after Fifth Avenue wagon crash
