Mayor Hogan fights bus schedule slashes and shuttle plan
Stung by an ODT fuel cutback, Mayor Frank J. Hogan renews opposition to a shuttle line serving Beman Park and Oakwood Avenue residents. He argues the move wastes gasoline and adds transfers at Hoosick and Tenth streets, delaying trips to Troy Hospital on Oakwood Avenue and Samaritan Hospital in Beman Park. He vows to restore satisfactory service and keep the fight for riders.
