Date Set for Frotten Murder Trial in Vermont
Harold Frotten is ordered to stand trial for first degree murder in Bennington County Vermont. The arraigned 26 year old Worcester man pleads not guilty and a July trial date is set in Manchester. The case stems from a fatal shotgun shooting following a dispute over a young woman. The main witness is the 18 year old daughter of the deceased. Fran Frotten was apprehended in Tampa Florida and returned to Vermont. He has been in state custody since Christmas Day for a sanity hearing. County officials and state medical authorities are involved in the proceedings.
