Scholarship Applications Being Filed for Local Students
The Record Newspapers offer a one year scholarship in the Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute Publishing and Printing Department for high school seniors from area schools. Tuition covered is 250 dollars for the 193-44 term. Applications should be sent to The Record Newspapers at Broadway and Fifth Avenue Troy NY. Special consideration favors those unlikely to be called for armed service within the year.
