Tung Oil Emerges As Banner Southern Crop In Southland

In Poplarville Mississippi tung oil, grown from a Florida cemetery tree less than 25 years ago, has grown into a 2 million dollar wartime industry. Output rose from 2,000 tons in 1989 to 9,300 tons, with prices up from 15 to 35 cents per pound.
