Courthouse modernization eyed with limited heating plan
Rensselaer County plans a 1971 budget renovation for the courthouse with electrical rewiring and ceiling lowering. Low bids total 73116 for electrical and renovation work, while heating and air conditioning bids exceed the budget, risking no system upgrade. Several lawmakers oppose any extra spending beyond the 150000 appropriation.
