Fake $20 Bills Prove To Be Real Notes
A batch of supposed counterfeit twenty dollar notes circulating in Northern New York proved real, tied to a January Treasury redesign. Banks reported few issues as confusion subsided, with inquiries noted at National City Bank of Troy and Union National Bank and a wary teller at Bank of Waterford. The Troy Detective Bureau found no widespread counterfeit activity despite some police interest in Watertown.

Fragmentary text describes courses of instruction and county class conduct with references to inspectors and rural districts. The readable parts mention examinations, required attendance, and instructional duties but lack clear names, places, or dates. The passage reads as a stray OCR fragment from a historical education notice.
