Redistricting Arguments Stated September 9
Albany reports that arguments on the constitutionality of this year’s redistricting law will be heard September 9 by the Court of Appeals. The plan would force Rensselaer County to share a Senate seat with Saratoga and risk losing a lower house seat. Justice Pierce H. Russell of Troy issued an order validating the law and supporting Senator Stephen J. Witkowski’s Buffalo Democratic stance.
