Holstein Club Plans July Tri County Show Inspection Trip

The Tri County Holstein Club prepares a cattle show featuring purebred Holsteins at Echaghticoke on July 25. An inspection tour to select cattle for the event will be held Tuesday with inspectors led by W D Brown secretary of the New York State Holstein Association and others from Cambridge and nearby towns.

Moonlight Festival at St Pau l Apostle's Church August 8

Walter P. Hoffman named chairman of the 23rd annual Moonlight Festival at St Paul the Apostle's Church to be held August 8 on the church grounds at Hutton and Twelfth Streets. Gerald Fitzgerald named cochairman with officers including Mrs Lambers secretary Peter Lamb treasurer and Hare Brown assistant treasurer. Rev Walter J. Torpey pastor and Rev Michael E. Breen form the executive committees with more committees to be announced at a parish meeting. The Moonlight Festival was started by Father Torpey after he arrived from Nhipehail and will feature many attractions this year.
