Family Keeps Bonus Of Snakes As Pets Across Home
The Holt family raises four gopher snakes and four more reptiles for their children Christa, John, Sheila, and the younger ones. Mrs Holt, though not fond of the creatures, learned to handle them safely after a rattlesnake incident in Mississippi. The pets came from Holt, a geologist who travels the Southwest, and the snakes sit in a backyard boa cage while the children ignore fear and play with the reptiles.
