Rent Control Reinstated in Saratoga County Officials Announce
Housing administrator Joseph V. McGoldrick says Saratoga County resumes rent ceilings effective today under federal guidelines. The nine month study covers January 2 1958 to January 30 1958, showing wide rent increases with many apartments up to 260 percent and only a few landlords opposing decontrol. Public hearing attendance was limited with few objections recorded during the session in Saratoga Springs June 21.
