Winners in Safety Contest Named
Vickers of Cambridge and Misa Janet Nolan of Hudson Falla were named Waah Ming County safety contest winners. Vickers won first prize of 10 dollars from Sheriff William J. Robertson. Nolan took second with five dollars. Contest open to all students in grades 10 and 11 across the county. Local officials and educators outlined statewide competition plans and a stadium project with public subscription support.

Albany-Saratoga County considers a bill to levy 16 per cent tax on pari mutuel harness wagering and receive 33 1 3 per cent of breakage, funding county costs and debts with no property tax increase.
