Extend Job Insurance Benefits and Revisions Considered
Senator Richard A. Di Costanzo introduced bills to extend unemployment insurance from 20 to 26 weeks and raise maximum weekly payments to 26 dollars with 14 dollars minimum. The plan adds 2 dollars per dependent, shortens the waiting period to four days, redefines effective day, and removes lockout exceptions. A concurrent resolution would study the small loan situation.
